Dr Ghazala Watt is a General Adult Psychiatrist and Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME).

After completing her primary medical degree in 2003, Dr Watt pursued her career in Psychiatry. She became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) in 2010, and in 2014 gained Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

Dr Watt specialities include Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Stress related conditions, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Psychotic Disorders. She also has special interest in Transcultural Psychiatry, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Perinatal Psychiatry.

Dr Watt has extensive experience working in different cultural settings including Asia, Europe and Australia including Australian Aboriginal Culture.

She has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the NSW, WA and QLD public sector and is currently employed with Queensland Health as a Consultant Psychiatrist with the Psychosis Academic Unit, Metro South Health Services.

Prior to joining Robina Private Hospital, Dr Watt consulted privately in Brisbane.
